This session is just for bigger breed adolescent dogs — those bouncy, curious, and sometimes chaotic pups who’ve grown out of puppy play but aren’t quite fully grown.
It’s the perfect space for young dogs to burn off energy, practise polite play, and build confidence with others going through the exact same phase. From zoomies to clumsy greetings, we embrace it all! The play is designed to be safe, fun, and positive.
Owners can play or watch on and relax with a hot drink and share the joys (and challenges!) of life with a teenage dog — you’re definitely not alone.
If your dog is in that “still learning everything” stage, this is the perfect place to let them be themselves.

It was our first time taking our 7 month old puppy to a labradoodle meet. It was amazing, the staff were so lovely & our boy had the best time. He was loving running about playing with other dogs & having some freedom from being on the lead. As soon as we arrived home I booked straight in for the next labradoodle meet up. We can’t wait to bring our boy back, he had a ball as did we!

What a great afternoon every time we come for the golden chaos it’s impossible not to laugh. Such a mood booster watching all these golden good balls charging around then collapsing exhausted. An absolute tonic doctors should be prescribing this!!

I attended my first ever small breeds session at The Dug and Bone with my two chihuahuas, and honestly I was more nervous than the dogs were as they not very well socialised yet, so there was quite a lot of barking and wee man syndrome from my boy dog but Ashleigh was absolutely amazing with both them and me. She was kind, patient, knowledgeable, and never made us feel uncomfortable or judged.
The other dogs and owners were all so friendly and encouraging too, which really helped settle my nerves.
By the end of the session I felt so much more confident, and the dogs actually seemed to enjoy themselves despite their noisy introductions.
We’ve already booked in again for next week and are genuinely looking forward to it. Highly recommend Dug and Bone to anyone with nervous little dogs (or nervous owners!). - R Mooney·
Had Ziggy booked in for the Labradoodle meet up he's 9mth old and we are looking to build his confidence around other dogs, I seen the dug and bone online and wanted to give it a go. I wasn't 100% sure how he would react and honestly felt maybe we shouldn't go thinking would he be ok, we are beyond happy we came along staff were fantastic talked us through how it all works the place was spotless,we honestly smiled from start to end it was a great experience and can't wait to go back, Ziggy done amazing with it being his first time had a few barks but nothing like I imagined and staff even came over to see how he was getting on, I think a few more meet ups and we will have a more confident doggo. He did have a pee and was so easily managed with the supplies on hand to help yourself to. It was also lovely to get a chat with other people with different experiences who have been a good few times and some just starting out like Ziggy overall highly recommended.

Pablo always has a great time. The venue is especially good when the weather is not too good, including being too hot! Its great to see him running about with other dogs in a safe environment. Its also great to chat to other owners and enjoy a coffee and home made tray bakes!

10/10 experience here with our pup Pippin! She's a rescue who can be nervous around bigger dogs, so the small dog play Session was perfect. We also enjoyed a little snack and coffee while there, so treats were had by both humans and dug! Thanks for a great time!
